31st FEFAC Congress in Bucharest - Less than one week left to register!

Almost everything is in place for the 31st FEFAC Congress to take place on 20 May 2026 at the Hotel Intercontinental Athénée Palace in Bucharest, Romania.

Registration is now in its final stretch and will close on 15 April 2026.

Organised by FEFAC and co-hosted by ANFNC, the Congress will be held “back-to-back” with the 13th ANFNC Annual Conference (19 May) and followed by field visits on 21 May, completing three days of policy & innovation exchange, value chain partners dialogue and practical insights in the agrifood supply chain.

This year’s Congress will focus on “European livestock sector – Quo vadis? Outlook to EU livestock and feed production in the Circular Bioeconomy”, looking at how the sector can remain competitive, resilient and sustainable in a fast-changing policy and market environment.

The expert panels will discuss the following key topics:

  • EU agricultural markets and trade policy impacts on feed grain supplies
  • Feed additives and EU strategic dependency
  • Circular bioeconomy and the role of co-products in livestock production

The programme will bring together senior representatives from the European Commission, the EU and global value chain partners to exchange views on the future direction of EU livestock and feed production. The discussions will highlight both policy priorities and practical solutions shaping the livestock sector’s transition to more resilient, competitive and sustainable production systems.

The Congress offers a timely and unique opportunity to take stock of current market challenges and explore where the sector is heading next.
