The EU Grain Chain launched its blog on actions towards enhanced sustainability in the soy supply chain.
In this online tool, it presents relevant information on existing challenges, on actions taken and progress in the sustainable transformation of the soy supply chain. The EU Grain Chain supports members and interested stakeholders with available information on challenges, actions and progress in the responsible transformation of the soy supply chain.
The EU Grain Chain consist of FEFAC, COCERAL and FEDIOL members that represent a sizable share of the EU grain, oilseed and feed value chain. Our associations help to drive change for a more sustainable, deforestation-free soy supply chain. The launch of the EU sustainable soy blog is aimed to support membership and other engaged stakeholders with available studies, evidence, relevant reference documents and communication tools. The blog presents relevant knowledge on issues, on measures taken and progress in the transformation of the soy supply chain. The blog consists of relevant infographics on how to tackle deforestation, soy consumption in the EU and where the soy we use originates from. There are also factsheets available regarding the Amazon Soy Moratorium and soy production practices, with more to follow.
