FEFAC, the European Feed Manufacturers’ Federation, is pleased to announce that registrations are now open for the 70th FEFAC Anniversary Public Annual Meeting, taking place on 27–28 April 2027 at the European Convention Center Luxembourg (ECCL).

Under the theme “EU Livestock Strategy and EU Protein Action Plan: From Vision to Implementation”, the event will bring together European policymakers, representatives of the livestock and agri-food sectors, EU Farm Ministers, and industry leaders to discuss how to translate EU policy ambitions into concrete action.

The programme will open on Tuesday, 27 April, with a keynote address held by Christophe Hansen, European Commissioner for Agriculture and Food, on the EU roadmap towards more competitive, resilient and sustainable livestock production systems. This will be followed by a high-level panel with national Agriculture Ministers and representatives of the EU Parliament and agrifood chains, exchanging views on how to accelerate the transition towards more competitive, resilient and sustainable livestock systems.

The afternoon session will turn to the impact of EU free trade agreements on global and European grain and feed supply chains, including Mercosur, the EU-Ukraine Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area, and EU-US trade relations (Turnberry agreements)

On Wednesday, 28 April, discussions will investigate key factors to set up an enabling environment needed to improve access to existing and innovative protein sources and feed technology solutions. Speakers will explore developments in co-products, alternative proteins, feed additives and new genomic techniques (NGTs) for oilseeds and protein crops.

The event will also provide valuable opportunities to exchange with colleagues and stakeholders across the European feed and agri-food sectors, including the FEFAC Anniversary Gala Dinner on 27 April.
